About the Role
Mtoag Technologies is looking for a motivated Next.js Developer who has a good understanding of Next.js and React.js and is comfortable using AI tools for development, debugging, research, and problem-solving.
The ideal candidate should also have a basic understanding of prompt engineering and know how to create effective prompts to get useful results from AI tools.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain web applications using Next.js and React.js.
Write clean, reusable, and responsive code.
Integrate APIs and work with frontend/backend data.
Debug and troubleshoot application issues.
Use AI tools to assist with coding, debugging, documentation, and research.
Create effective prompts for AI-assisted development.
Explore and implement AI-powered development workflows.
Collaborate with designers and developers to implement UI/UX designs.
Test applications and fix bugs.
Continuously learn new technologies and development practices.
Required Skills
Basic to good knowledge of Next.js.
Good understanding of React.js.
Knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript.
Understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design.
Basic knowledge of REST APIs.
Basic Git/GitHub knowledge.
Understanding of component-based development.
Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
AI Skills
Hands-on experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar.
